Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes revealed that she’d been hospitalized. Though it was originally believed that the 45-year-old reality star was fallen ill due to exhaustion, she recently issued a statement detailing her real ailment via her website, NeNe Leakes Official. She began by thanking fans and supporters for their well wishes. NeNe Leakes stated that she wasn’t feeling well and was feeling a little short of breath. She also said that her body knows when to be concerned so she went to the hospital to get checked out. After some routine tests she was diagnosed with blood clots in her lung. She was told this happened to her because of the constant traveling around the country that she does for her job. She is thankful to be alive as the doctor advised her that most people don’t recognize the symptoms of blood clots and don’t go to the doctor and that’s when the big problems start happening.
